Tucked away along the bustling stretch of Jl. Raya Serpong, this Padang restaurant offers a spacious and comfortable setting for those seeking hearty Minang flavors. The interior leans toward a more polished and somewhat formal vibe compared to traditional Padang spots, which might feel a bit unexpected if you're used to a rustic ambiance. Inside, it’s usually lively during lunch hours, attracting groups ranging from families with kids to solo diners looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal.
The menu presents a wide array of dishes typical to Padang cuisine, with some items standing out for their savory depth and distinctive spice balance, like ayam pop and kikil cabai hijau. Alongside the main courses, the dessert selection, including regional specialties such as serabi durian, draws those wanting a sweet finish to their meal. The drink options, featuring coffee and various teas, complement the food well and suit different times of day, whether for breakfast, brunch, or dinner.
Practical aspects such as wheelchair-accessible seating and restrooms, ample parking, and both takeout and delivery services make it a convenient choice for diverse visitors. The atmosphere remains relatively quiet despite the size of the place, offering private dining rooms if you’re planning a small gathering. While the pricing aligns with its casual yet somewhat upscale approach, those searching for an authentic Padang experience with a more traditional feel might notice a difference. Overall, it draws diners who appreciate a calm, roomy environment paired with satisfying, well-prepared dishes from this rich culinary tradition.

"Good service with contemporary interior combined with tasty foods."
"They offer a really nice tasting food in a very affordable price."
"Delicious reasonable price friendly staff cozy place"
4 I think the interior is too fancy, quite amiss with the nasi padang concept, the food is quite good but compare to the other 'high class' nasi padang with the same price range I think it loss a bit
5 No doubt, one of the best Padang resto. Almost all food are delicious, ended with its special dessert "serabi durian" so yummy! Good service, clean and comfortable.
4 The food was a bit more savoury than its competitors. The style makes you wonder, is it different than any other Minang joint? I would say the star of the dishes was the ayam pop and the kikil cabai hijau. Sue me for being not according to your palette, but I just like the morning afternoon better.. Still, this is a great minangnese food if you're happen to be around.!
5 RM Pangeran Serpong is a Padang cuisine restaurant. The place is quite big and the parking space is spacious. During lunch the place is very crowded. The price is reasonable. There are very large choice of food to be ordered here. The waitress is very helpful.
4 To my surprise, it was a good Padang restaurant. I believe it's quite famous in the area. They had several rooms, even a closed one for events if you want to hold a gathering. I had a nice dining experience there. The taste is as expected from a nice restaurant. For the price, well I think it's quite standard for such restaurant, don't compare to ordinary ones.
5 I had the pleasure of dining at a wonderful Nasi Padang restaurant during my recent trip to Jakarta. The moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the cozy and warm ambiance, with friendly staff welcoming us and guiding us to our seats. The menu was extensive, offering a wide variety of dishes, and I was spoilt for choice. I decided to try the traditional Nasi Padang, and it was a gastronomic delight, with the flavor and aroma of perfectly cooked rice blended perfectly with the savory, spicy, and aromatic dish. The accompanying dishes were equally delicious, from the succulent beef rendang and the spicy sayur asam to the crispy ikan balado. I particularly enjoyed the Sambal, which was bursting with flavors and adding an extra kick to the dishes and the meal. What impressed me most was the authenticity of the dishes, with each one perfectly prepared and seasoned, reflecting the true flavors of Indonesian cuisine. The prices were also very reasonable, and I found it to be an excellent value for the quality of the food and service. Overall, the restaurant provided a memorable experience for me. It was an absolute pleasure to indulge in the flavors of traditional Indonesian cuisine in such an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Jakarta and craving for authentic Nasi Padang.
4 The Padang resto was decent overall. The variety of dishes was good, and portions were fair. However, the seasoning was a bit too salty, which overpowered the flavors. Service and ambiance were okay.
5 Great fried chickens. As always, with nasi padang it's easy to go over the top because everything mouthwatering is presented in front of you. Sambal ijo is provided bottomless, albeit a little salty for my taste.
They are praised for traditional Padang dishes, especially ayam pop and kikil cabai hijau, with a special mention of their serabi durian dessert.
